Next week ends the Ranma storyline that is currently going on. I'd like to open the field and let people suggest where Pahhur and the crew will go to next. I do know that people actually look here from time to time (I'll be adverting this thread in the next chapter update in one week). Suggestions for the next place will end on the 1st.

I know I know, no sooner do I pick up one schedule than I drop it, but honestly no one is paying attention to these forums anyway, so I can just ramble off and change things willy nilly.

Sunday: Fan Fiction
Monday: Main Story
Wednesday: Comic
Friday: Video (If any)
Saturday: Webs of Nature (If any)

So yeah, Friday and Saturday will be kinda stop and go, the other three should be pretty regular.

STUFF Reviews is an initiative started by Ted and myself to have some fun partaking in an ancient American past time: making fun of other people's work.

What we will review:

Movies
Series (Anime, TV, etc.)
Games
Graphic Novels (Comics, Manga, etc.)

What we won't review

Books
Music

What are we offering?

You may have to ask what makes us different from every other internet reviewer? Well a few things:
A) We're not afraid to tackle anything, I only don't want to review books or music simply because it would be difficult to do with our current technical limitations. This may change in the future.
B) Editorials. There are many stories out there that could be better, and many that never seemed to have an editor look over them. In this day of remakes, reboots, and director's cuts I am going to make clear cut red ink marks across everything. How to make bad stories good, how to make good stories better. I apologize for the weakness of the first review in this aspect. I will do better next time.
C) Storyline. Not to give too much away, but I am a firm believer in having a background story; look forward to that when we have some extra time and funding.

Structure

Our review structure will be a little complicated; especially around series. We will review most things in their individual parts (we may divide a larger game up, particularly RPGs) and review those parts as on their own merits.

Then at the end of each season we will give a season review, and at the end of the series we will give a series review.

If there is more than one media being used (Example: Both an Anime and a Manga) We will quickly sum up and score any overlapping material, and go into detail on any divergent sections. At the end of that we will do a comparison between the parts.

Requests

This is going to work very simply. I have a Contact Me page up on the Blog, either E-mail me or post a request in this thread, or put a request in the comments section.

If you donate money you can attach a request to that donation.

Donated requests will be done faster, right now I will continue with Ranma 1/2 until it is completed (Both the anime and manga)

Un-donated requests will be done at every other review inter-spaced between Ranma reviews.

Donated reviews will be done first (Unless the request is for a whole series, in which case we will review two parts of the series and then do another Ranma review.)

Delays in reviews may occur if I have trouble getting my hands on a physical copy of the material. (In the odd case of material that has no physical version, I will find a way to show that I actually own it.) The higher the donation, the sooner the review.

I will be putting up a list in another topic, and I will be updating that list with the requested reviews and the price on those reviews. I cannot promise an immediate review (since I'd have to get a copy, film, and edit) and it may not even be the next review even if money was paid (if we already have a filmed review edited that will go up next.) However it will be the target of our next filming session.

Announcements / Summer schedule

First, for all practical purposes I'm finally in summer break, which means everything should be on schedule from here on out.
Second, I'm working on the next chapter of the Fan Fiction version, but I've made a decision that is going to be very upsetting to some people out there. I want you all to know the Fan Fiction is going to have as happy an ending as I can manage. You'll just have to trust me.
Third, STUFF Reviews is finally up, there won't be one next week as we didn't get to film yesterday, but the major issue we had with the last one is now solved, namely we were relying on the campus computer to do the editing, now I have an editing program on my computer; not a good one, but it'll do.

With all that said I'm still manipulating the schedule until it works the way I want it to, namely spacing everything out. Things will also keep moving as we keep adding new content. I know in a few months Ted is going to introduce a new segment Professor Astonishing which is going to be both a video series and a comic series with the two version entwined in each other. So for the next week (starting the week after this one) or so, and hopefully through the summer, here is the schedule:

Honestly the Logs have gotten almost unbearable. I'd like to leave updating the Wiki to any fans out there. I'll just keep an eye out to make sure what goes up is correct. So I'll replace the Log with an extra story chapter for now.

Announcements / A Few Things

Firstly I'm starting to feel finals crunch. I'm going to try and keep updating on schedule, but I may end up missing more days than just yesterday.

Secondly, STUFF Reviews is almost ready, but it will take one more week to get it cleaned up properly. I'm really excited to get this project going, both Ted and I have put a lot of effort into this.

Finally I have compiled versions of the first two parts of Dimensional Warriors. I assume it would be easier or some people to read those, but I can't find a method to put them up; the file sizes are too large. If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated.

So a teaser will be up next Tuesday for Dash Retro which looks awesome!

Also there was heavy talk of a potential review show. We sat down, watched some material and made some decisions. Filming will probably occur next week then we'll see what happens from there. Good stuff is on its way.

First off, I'm sorry for today's blog post being all screwy, by the time I woke up and saw it I realized the entire body had somehow been wiped. It's fixed now.
